Living in Koblenz - Semester ticket
As in most German university cities, finding accommodation in Koblenz is often difficult at the beginning.
With the semester ticket, you can use local public transport free of charge. Koblenz and Remagen are well connected by train, so
it is worth looking for rooms in the surrounding area as well.
Residences
You can apply for the following halls of residence in Koblenz. There is no entitlement to a place in a hall of residence and the waiting lists are often long. The International Office has no influence on the allocation of hall of residence places!
You can also apply for a place in the Protestant or Catholic residence if you do not belong to the denomination.
In the 'Live and Help' project, senior citizens give housing and receive support in everyday life and living in return. Students get involved and live cheaply or rent-free.
